If you have enough perks and attack power, you can even overkill them for more bonus. If you are using Garrison, you can one-shot them with Warblade. This is a weapon you can enchant with lots of Attack and never fear replacing it.ġ1) When you first go into the Lycelot Dungeon, note the boss. +10 Overcharge per turn is no joke and vastly overpowers everything else. This is a weapon that you can use until the very end of the game. Everything else is nearly worthless especially the "chance on/when hit" enchantments.ġ0) Obtain Calibretto's Overcharged Cannon from the Shadow Coin vendor as soon as possible. There's a few rare mobs in Mana Crypts, but that's the last dungeon anyways.ĩ) Gear enchantment bonuses are VERY small. By the end of NG+, you should have a full bestiary on your second dungeon trip. When you start in New Game+, you'll have to go through all the dungeons again anyways. Use shrines and food buffs (healing per turn food buff is best). The first fight in the new dungeon might be difficult, but you'll gain a ton of XP. Mythic gear can sometimes have a random enchant on it, but grinding for a Mythic piece for a specific enchant is pointless, again see point 1).Ĩ) Revisting dungeons should be avoided if you can help it. When you go to the next dungeon, you'll largely replace your gear anyways. Rarity increases the stats on the item, but you shouldn't worry too much about it. It's a good source of XP.ħ) Gear is STATIC! If you find one Nature Loop, it will be exactly the same as another Nature Loop, aside from rarity. If you are under-levelled, go to the Arena and fight. Enemies will always have a turn between your character unless you use abilities during combat.Ħ) The Arena is your friend. No matter how fast your characters are, they can only take one action per "turn". Don't prioritize it above Attack/Stamina. Unfortunately, Mythic items crafted in NG+ do not come with the random enchantment as found Mythics sometimes do.ĥ) Haste is worthless on gear/echants. In the standard game, you can craft up to Epic, in NG+, you can craft up to Mythic. But if you do want to craft, you can make higher tier items by investing more components. Don't bother with it aside from an occassional Healing Potion (maybe), Revive Potion, and Cleanse Potion. The only defense against them is cleansing abilities/potions and lots of Stamina.Ĥ) Crafting is worthless. Debuffs like Poison, Bleed, Curse, etc., don't care how much defense or magic defense you have. If you need more defense, see 1) above (go gain a level).ģ) Debuff damage is relatively static. Beefing up your attack is more important than beefing up defense. This is important, because the healing you do, the amount of barrier you gain, the damage you deal - IT'S ALL TIED TO ATTACK. I can't stress that enough.Ģ) Almost all combat modifiers are based on ATTACK. If you can't beat a boss, come back after gaining 1 level. The damage you do and the damage you receive are all based on level differences between you and the enemy. 1) The game is HEAVILY level-based in it's calculations.
